Sjajni rezultati mladih košarkaša FMP-a u prethodnim sezonama, osvojeni turniri širom Evrope, bili su samo uvertira za veliki događaj koji nas čeka u Srpskoj prestonici krajem marta.
Igre juniorske ekipe na prošlogodišnjem Final four takmičenju koje su prisutne ostavljale bez daha, osvojene zlatne medalje mladih srpskih reprezentacija u kojima su najbolji igrači bili upravo članovi našeg kluba, omogućili su Panterima da vrate Beograd na košarkašku mapu Evrope i budu organizatori prestižnog juniorskog turnira.
U periodu od 28.03.-30.03.2008. godine, Košarkaški klub FMP u saradnji sa Evroligom organizuje Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Classification Tournament Belgrade 2008.
Pored domaćina turnira, ekipe FMP-a, učesnici su timovi Montepaskija, Benetona, Fenerbahčea, Prokom Sopota, Lietuvas Ritasa, Himkija, Olimpije, Bosne, Hemofarma, Crvene Zvezde i Partizana.
Dve prvoplasirane ekipe na turniru će se direktno kvalifikovati za završnicu Evrolige “Final 8” od 01.05. do 04.05.2008. godine u Madridu, gde će se takmičiti najboljih 8 evropskih juniorskih timova.
Imena klubova koji učestvuju na turniru garantuju nam vrhunsku košarku i prvorazredni spektakl u dvoranama FMP u Železniku i Basketland na Čukaričkoj padini.
Ne tako davno pozivali smo Evropu sa sloganom “Dobrodošli u zemlju košarke”…
sada ih pozivamo sa sloganom :

Excellent results from the FMP young basketball players in previous seasons, won tournaments all over Europe, have been the overture for the big event that awaits us in the Serbian capital at the end of March.
Beautiful plays of junior team at the last Final four competition, connected with the gold medals of young Serbian teams in which the best players have been members of our club, enabled Panters to return Belgrade on the European basketball map and to be organizers of prestigious junior tournament.
Between 28.-30. March 2008 basketball club FMP in cooperation with the Euroleague is organizing Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Classification Tournament Belgrade 2008.
Beside the organizer of the tournament-team FMP, participants are teams Montepaschi Sienna, Beneton Basket, Fenerbahce Ulker, Prokom Trefl, Lietuvos Rytas, Khimki Moscow Region, Union Olimpija, Bosna, Crvena Zvezda and Partizan.
The names of the clubs which participate in the tournament guarantee us first-class basketball and spectacle in the FMP arena in Zeleznik and Basketland arena in Cukaricka Padina.
Not long ago we have been calling Europe with the slogan “Welcome to the land of basketball”…
And now we are calling them with the slogan
“WELCOME TO THE LAND OF FUTURE CHAMPIONS”
